CONSTITUTION:
Name of the fellowship
The name of the fellowship is "Football World Fellowship of Rotarians".
Purpose of the fellowship
The purpose of the fellowship is to promote fellowship, understanding and acquaintance of Rotarians worldwide who share a common interest in football either as active players or by watching the game.
Qualifications for membership
You must be a Rotarian in good standing, have an interest in football, and you must pay the membership fee US$ 5 for a two-year period or be a life member and pay US$ 10. Spouses of Rotarians and Rotaractors can be 'Associate Members' must pay member fees, but do not have any voting rights.
Officers and Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consist of 4 persons (Officers), who will deal with the day-to-day running of the fellowship: Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. If any elected person in the fellowship resigns before the end of the elected period, the Executive committee will select a substitute for that position to serve the remaining period of office.
Election of officers
Officers will be elected in November, for a tree-year term, to take office on the following July 1st. Ballots will be mailed to all members in good standing through email, election is by open ballot and a majority vote of the members is necessary to be elected. Any officers can be reelected.
Country Coordinators
Members in good standing can be appointed by the Executive Committee as Country Coordinators to help and support the Executive committee. The appointment as Country Coordinator is for a period of one year, and can be extended for any periods of one year.
Membership fee
The Membership fee will be used to cover costs of mail, communication and administrative costs.
Annual Report
An annual report will be send by email each September by the new officers, including the current roster of members, a calendar of events or activities, and any other pertinent information.
Amendments
Any member may propose a change to these rules. The officers will review the proposed change, and submit a recommendation to the membership. A majority vote of the membership is necessary to change these rules.
Honorary Members
The Executive Committee decides who will become 'Honorary Members' for life. Honorary members can be past and present football stars (players) and people who have served in high positions of the football world, have significantly supported our fellowship or the game of football. Honorary members do not pay membership fee or have any voting right.
